People and Online Communication
People become more and more intent on technology and pay a high value for their need of communication as modernity continues to develop. There is no end for new technologies and for the settings that might be created by this phenomenon. Nowadays, many people around the world use a popular alternative medium of communication, called online communication.
Online communication refers to real-time communication using communication technologies. Currently, there is an advanced form of online communication namely Computer-Mediated-Communication (CMC). CMC utilizes a choice of computer technology applications as means of communication. This type of technology covers every form of communication between two or more persons via computer-supported-media; such as discussion boards, email, chat rooms, instant messaging, and so on.
